This Original Range Kart, the one that started it all, is designed for the person who wants to carry everything with them. Wheels are 16 inches in diameter and allow for very rough terrain. Kart is made of solid oak except for the very bottom, base board of Sheriff's Gun Case which is 3/4 inch oak plywood for strength. Finish is a Watco dark walnut oil finish, sprayed on heavily with the excess wiped off (scratches and dents can be steamed out if so desired--it is also advised that more coats of oil be applied such as tung oil or any good quality oil finish). Leather covers all surfaces in which your rifles rest. Front tray holds a 20 inch by 10 inch box (our Range Box, No Frills Box, Pine Box, or your own). Kart and Boxes are sturdy and allow you to sit while waiting for your turn to shoot. May be personalized with cleaning rod holes, or some folks add umbrella holder to the side. Plus as a bonus--the whole Kart comes completely apart for transportation in the trunk of your car, no tools needed.

When the shooting is done, the Original Range Kart becomes a Sheriff's Gun Case in your home to hold your rifles for display. Picture above shows stabilizer bar in place across the gun barrels; below, in Gun Case, see it off. It locks your guns in place with the simple turn of a knob. For peace of mind, add our Security System to lock in the guns and/or lock up the wheels whether on the range or in your study or reloading room.
