This Decapper handles just about all your cartridges. The unit is made of brass with maple handles, and put together with stainless steel screws and aviation-style locking nut.

You know the mess that comes from blackpowder shooting--the decapping, soaking, cleaning. To save your brass from the chemical reaction of blackpowder you should decap and soak in the cleaner of your choice as soon as possible. At the range, while waiting for your next turn up is a good time to decap and clean your brass.

This Decapper and its spring-loaded opener makes decapping easy: you just slide the case on the bar, put the pin on the spent primer and squeeze the handle--out it pops and your case is ready to soak. The Decapper comes with the decapping bar shown: 3/8 inch in diameter (.375) which will fit most blackpowder cartridges, even up to the 3 1/4 inch long calibers. If you decap a smaller caliber as in Schuetzen competition, we sell a new decapping bar turned for your caliber. Or if you clean shotgun cases we also sell a larger primer bar for them.
