when the calves are dragged to the fire and marked with the rancher's brand.
Also, the edges of the leather are charred in the same manner as the calves hides, so don't wear your Sunday best when assembling the Kit.

Snaps on back of straps allow you to affix Catcher wherever you've installed the screw/snap set, hanging by strap end snaps or snaps closer to pouch shown above.
See below some of the possibilities for assembly––some are shown rough out, some smooth; some of the Kits have been assembled with conchos or beads, others with the rosettes included in Brass Catcher Kit. See below for beads and conchos choices and prices, sold separately.
(1) Some examples of the Brass Catcher assembled; this one uses 2 tan beads (an extra 42¢) and has rough out leather,
hidden lacing.

(2) A second example shows smooth side out, simple lacing exposed and uses 2 small beads (24¢) plus a #53 concho ($2.30) and different closure method.
(3) Third example shows rough out, "whip stitching" (shown left) and closure method with knot & one of the rosettes in Kit.
(4) Fourth shows smooth side out with lacing exposed (lighter leather) different closure again using one of the included rosettes.
Beads can be purchased individually, or in quantity. Prices vary somewhat with color.
